不知你有没有发现：
在英语中，有很多的俚语（Slang）表达，明明看起来很简单，却一不小心就容易理解错了。
比如，无忧君今天要介绍的“I'm sold”。
大家都知道，“sell”有“卖；出售”的意思；
而“sold”，是sell的过去分词。
那么，“I'm sold”就是“我被卖了”的意思了吗？
并不是！你看到的“I'm sold”，只不过是一个“最熟悉的陌生人”。
在英语中，“sell”作动词时，除了有“卖；出售”的意思，它还有另外一层含义：
“说服；使接受”
我们来看看剑桥词典对此的解释：
to persuade someone that an idea or plan is a good one and likely to be successful
所以，“I'm sold”，实际上就相当于“I'm convinced.”
我们再来看看“I'm sold”的解释：
When you are convinced of/by something.
也就是说：
当你被说服或者被打动的时候，你就可以说“I'm sold”了。
My boss is very old-fashioned and I'm having a lot of trouble selling the idea of working at home occasionally.
