说到“羊”，小伙伴们的第一印象，是温驯可爱的。
而在影视剧里面，羊也一直是聪明、善良的人设；
如《喜羊羊与灰太狼》、《小羊肖恩》系列电影等。
大家都知道，“绵羊”的英语是“sheep”；
但你知道吗？当“sheep”用来形容人的时候，表示的意思却不是那么可爱的。
今天，是双12；
前几天，一同事和外教Emma聊天，说双12又要剁手了。
外教问为什么又要买呢？
同事表示“因为朋友都会买，自己也忍不住”。
不料，外教回了一句“You are like sheep.”
同事当场就懵了...“我是一只羊？”“我是一只可爱的小绵羊”？
很明显，同事这是会错了外教的意思了。
那么，“You are like sheep”究竟是什么意思呢？
在了解这个表达的意思前，我们先来看一个经济学名词——“羊群效应”。
羊群是一个很散乱的组织，平时在一起也是盲目地左冲右撞，但一旦有一只头羊动起来，其他的羊也会不假思索地一哄而上，全然不顾前面可能有狼或者不远处有更好的草。
因此，“羊群效应”也叫“从众效应”，反映的就是人们都有从众心理，喜欢跟风随大流、盲从导致被骗或失败。
因此，当歪果仁对你说“You are like sheep”，并不是在夸你可爱，而是在说你这个人“跟风、随大流、没有主见”。
在这里，“like sheep”是一个固定搭配。
