在中秋节和教师节到来之际，国际教育学院走访外籍教师，为我校4名外籍教师送上节日的问候与祝福。院长胡晓波、副院长庞卫东、教学秘书苏晓辉、办公室主任刘超等参加相关活动。
由于疫情防控需要，活动以座谈、走访、视频等不同方式开展。在交流中，胡晓波首先传达了学校党委和校行政对外籍教师的关心和问候，对4位外籍教师为学校作出的贡献表示感谢。
随后，院长胡晓波与外教进行了亲切交谈，详细了解了大家在洪水和疫情期间的生活情况，对他们支持配合疫情防控、坚守工作岗位的精神给予高度赞赏。胡院长表示，学院将努力为外教营造良好的工作及生活环境，同时预祝各位老师节日快乐，生活美满。 外籍教师感谢领导的关心，并表示一定努力工作，为学校的教学和科研工作贡献力量。

Dear teachers
On the occasion of the Mid-autumn Festival and Teachers' Day, on behalf of all the University, I extend Mid-autumn greetings and give our sincere thanks to you, our lovely foreign teachers.
All of you have traveled thousands of miles to teach here. With your diligent devotion and dedication, the international education of our school has advanced by leaps and bounds. The stringent, pragmatic, entertaining and educational teaching styles have won widespread praise from all the students and the faculty. you are always the one to encourage them to express ideas, share stories and patiently answer every student’s question. Every word you once said, like “don’t be shy” or “just have a try”, is really powerful and inspiring, which encourages them to build up confidence and face life bravely and boldly.
In the last summer vacation, what impressed me most was that no matter what happened, whether it was COVID-19 or torrential rains in Zhengzhou, you didn't back down, but worked with us to fight against and pull through floods and epidemics. During this process, our hearts are much closer to each other. After all, we can enjoy the rainbow that follows a bad storm. I believe, in the new semester, our life will be better!
At present, China is not only undergoing profound changes unseen in a century, but also stands at the historical juncture of the "Two Centenary Goals". As the soul engineers of human, you are not only important participants, dedicators and witnesses, but also are playing an irreplaceable role in international education. Let us work together to make new contributions for international education and academic exchange of our school.
